This 18th-century wardrobe, an authentic example of Piedmontese craftsmanship, initially presented a loose and disconnected structure with evident missing parts, as shown in the pre-restoration image.

The restoration process was divided into several key phases:

  • Structural consolidation and reassembly to ensure stability
  • Integration of missing parts using reclaimed materials compatible with the originals
  • Repair of hardware, including hinges, locks, and key escutcheons
  • Stripping and cleaning of dirt and old varnish
  • Anti-parasitic treatment for long-term protection
  • Semi-gloss polishing with shellac and wax to restore the wood's natural beauty

Thanks to this careful restoration, the wardrobe has regained all its original splendor and is ready to enhance any space with elegance and style.
