Example of the restoration of an early 19th-century apothecary cabinet in a rare Neo-Gothic style. The restoration involved structural consolidation with the realignment of various components, a thorough cleaning to remove the accumulated layers of paint over time, and a meticulous reintegration and retouching of the original decoration, which included white lacquer with gilded mecca highlights.
Thanks to this careful restoration, the cabinet has regained its authentic appearance, becoming once again a functional piece suitable for furnishing refined and elegant spaces, perfect for storing books and decorative items.
