Restoration of an early 19th-century Apothecary Cabinet

Example of the restoration of an early 19th-century apothecary cabinet in a rare Neo-Gothic style. The restoration involved structural consolidation with the realignment of various components, a thorough cleaning to remove the accumulated layers of paint over time, and a meticulous reintegration and retouching of the original decoration, which included white lacquer with gilded mecca highlights.
