Custom-made artisan kitchen crafted in iron and sheet metal, featuring a robust and minimalist style inspired by the workbenches of old workshops. The flame-burned finish enhances the metal’s texture, revealing natural marks and shades, steering clear of the artificial look of industrial coatings. The interior is lined with solid oak, and the countertops are made from hand-chiseled local gray stone, creating a warm contrast. The corten steel hood adds a contemporary touch. The design accommodates the irregular stone walls, with hardware calibrated for the substantial weight of each door and drawer. The composition is completed by an ILVE six-burner cooking block and FHIABA fridge plus cellar/prosciutteria.
Perfectly integrated into the glass-enclosed porch of a farmhouse overlooking the Umbrian countryside.
